Julia Sternkopf

Julia is a young artist who is passionate about painting dramatic landscapes.
She was born in Germany in 1997 and spent her childhood drawing, painting
and being creative in whatever way possible. In late 2018 she moved to Wanaka,
New Zealand. Being surrounded by the most amazing scenery she had ever seen,
her passion for landscape painting was sparked.

Whenever she can, she tries to get out there, go hiking and exploring New Zealand's
beautiful and pristine wilderness, taking the inspiration back into the studio to try
and recreate the feeling of being out there again.

"New Zealand is full of untouched pristine wilderness that I love to explore and paint.
My goal is to capture the feeling of being out there and being absolutely amazed by
the beauty of our planet. This is what I want to share with everyone."
