Diana Peel

Diana Peel studied academic drawing and painting at university, but later on she worked many years as an interior designer. After moving to New Zealand where she became inspired to capture the nature and botanicals she started painting again, and this time she couldn't stop. Now she is an established artist and tutor with a steadily growing number of collectors.
"I became an artist to translate the surrounding world into my own language. I transform my emotions into art pieces which can say about me more than anything else. The only time I am truly content is when I have a chance to create. My paintings are an emotional manifesto, which emphasize the ultimate visual impact. I use my Palette knife as powerful tool of self-expression.
I transform simple and refined shapes into dramatic scenery of graceful forms , brilliant colours and texture, where they all come together to become a true reflection of my world"
