Andrea has a background as a ceramic artist/studio potter, but since 1998 has dedicated most of her time to oil painting. Painting and drawing is something she has pursued for many years.
With oils I can achieve depth and luminosity, vibrancy, mystery and boldness better than with any other medium. I love the age-old tradition of painting with oils, the many possibilities oil paint offers, the effect and depth of colour, and the play of light.
