Andrea Navarro Natera (NaNa)
Mexican Artist Living in New Zealand.
Andrea completed a Masters in Fine Art at London Metropolitan University and a BA in Product Design in México and Spain. Her Artwork has been exhibited internationally at venues such as the Biennale di Arte e Culture Contemporanea in Rome Italy, City Museum in Jalisco México and Galleries in London, New York , Tokyo and Wellington, New Zealand. She has been a finalist in the Award Musa at Reina Sofia National Museum of Art in Madrid Spain.
Her recent work comprises of a combination of Illustration, collage, ceramics, paint and mixed-media works.
My art is my journey. It’s my way to understand the earth and the world we live in. I collect memories, found objects, recycled materials, travels , drawings, international newspapers, experiences and pieces of cracked walls caused by natural energy.
I represent all these in my collages, mixed media paintings, ceramics, digital and pencil drawings.
